If you are looking for a few self-care rituals to help you unwind each night, look no further than our head-to-toe recommendations.

We put so much emphasis on taking care of the skin on our face (rightfully so!) but sometimes we neglect the skin on our bodies. 03: Digital Detox 

It’s so difficult these days to not hop into bed and scroll your phone for hours before finally falling asleep. This gives your mind and body a chance to settle into the quiet and start its natural process for rest. Here are a few things we LOVE to do before bed that ultimately give us a better night sleep:

  • Read a book! We love to binge watch the latest Netflix series just like everyone else, but the power of reading a physical book and immersing yourself in a great story is like nothing else. 
  • Do some light stretching or yoga. Taking 10-20 minutes every night to do some simple stretches can reverse the tightness caused by hours at a desk or a busy day that taxes the body. We love these simple stretches from GOOP!
  • Journaling is such a great way to release some of your thoughts from the day onto the page and out of your mind for a more peaceful sleep. We love taking few minutes before bed and writing hopes, dreams, plans, hardships, challenges in a journal that’s just for you. A sacred time to express yourself. We talk a lot about skincare as self-care here at SAINT JANE, but only because we believe in it so deeply to our core. Taking the time to do things that will refill your cup, no matter how big or small, is so important. At the end of the day (literally), you have to find ways to care for yourself so that you can care for others, and get the most out of this life.
